Just picked up a Zenpad Z8s on backmarket.com for $120. Decided my full sized iPad was too heavy for extended periods. The zenpad is light and works well.

I was wondering if I needed to go with a ipad mini 4 at least. Are you saying an ipad mini 2 works fine with DJI Fly and the Mavic Air 2. Does it work with latest version of DJI fly? (1.2.?)

Sorry for the late reply Yes it dose work for the DJI Fly !
Just to let you know the latest versions of Apple Mini Ipad means you will get iso updates remember no smaller than a 64 GB !!!!

You gotta get a iPad first and hope it is where I think it is haven't seen it in over a year to be honest...but I'm going to look tomorrow..it's late and don't want to be moving things around in house. You are about 2.5 hours from me BTW.
