The Mavic 3 Pro has helped me to capture many memorable images throughout 2024
Having wideangle, short tele and long telephoto cameras gives a variety of perspectives and prevents all images from having the same look.
The ability of the Maavic 3 Pro to handle winds and produce great images continues to surprise.
The conditions I've flown in ranged from pre-dawn calm to a full gale at sea.

Good work. Where are you usually taking off from? Some of the ships seem to be fair bit off shore.

I particularly like the evening photo of Queen Mary 2.

QM2 was a lucky catch.
I hoped for a sunset sailpast, but the ship was delayed and arrived well after the sun had gone down.
I bumped ISO up as far as I dared and could still only get 1/15th of a second shutter speed.
The ship was sailing quite fast - about 18 knots.
So I tried to match speed with the ship to get an acceptably sharp image.
Fortunately there was little to no headwind and I could keep up long enough to get several shots in and this one was the best.
