hi folks,

i learned something new today, mainly that auto stabilizing using the drone itself pretty much sux pretty bad !

i did this amazing (yet short) MANUALLY STABILZIED video here in dubai:

i found when stabilized automatically and the drone produced the video, it was noisy, the stabilization looked ugly, and the crop was TREMENDOUS so the top of the tower was gone and i hated it !

so i went ahead looking for best way to stabilize manually from the set of jpegs captured by the drone:

next time will merge RAW images even better, and denoise them, despite shooting at ISO 600 only, noisy can always be present especially in the dark skies !

Are you talking about turning off gimbal stabilization or the video post-processing in drone which adds stabilization?

I think you get better results with a much longer video , and just sped up , a much better bang for your time. The New AI tools can really clean it up nicely , with either Adobe or Capcut.

are you saying i need to shoot a longer time lapse ? or shoot a normal video and convert it to time lapse with and AI tool ?!

the video post processing in drone which adds stabilization is really awful,

what u r seeing was done manually, but the video out of the drone was so awful and cropped heavily the tower tops wasnt even showing, also the drone stabilization is not really good you get the wobbly effect which looks bad,,,
