Spare phone is not compatible with app

Hey guys awesome forum, i have a question about the right phone (i have read the phone threads and stickys) but i have a galaxy s7 as my main phone and this runs the app perfectly and no dramas as yet, but i have a completely spare galaxy s4 mini that would be perfect for a dedicated drone phone. Is there a way i can update the saftware on the s4? Or is it a hardware issue as to why it cant run DJI GO 4?

Did you try sideloading the DJI GO 4 APK?

You should be able to access an update option in the phone's settings, and update to Android 5 (ensure you're above 50% battery and plugged into a charger). Access the Google Play store once the update is done and you can then download DJI Go 4.

On my old tablet that wasent supported anymore I had to upgrade by putting cyanogenmod on it and then it worked. Doing that brought my phone to 4.4

Got the app to work but it's super glitchy? Is that just because of the phones shitter processer?
