Because the aperture is fixed on the Air 3, apparently the available ND Filters don't work as well with a single ND Filter, due to the differences between the 24mm and 70mm camera.
The new Split ND Filters are designed to correct this issue with the Air 3's cameras so you can use a single ND Filter for both.
