So I went to state farm and asked about drone coverage and was told they did not cover drones. I informed them that several people I know have drone insurance through state farm. He said they probably have it insured through property insurance coverage which is not specifically for the drone but for the contents of an insured property is basically what he said. I asked him, there is no way for me get my drone insured today? He said unless I own a property or a vehicle I wont be able to. The guy I spoke with was a basic worker, I did speak to the GM and he told me the same only in more technical detail.

I have heard that you can get different answers from different agents or offices.

Obviously they do not know what they are talking about unless this is in California. It is called a personal articles policy. I've had it for 2 years now and I've actually made a claim against it and they did not drop me. $60 a year in New York.

Wow i would have never remembered what you just said as I dont even know what that means lol.Sorry, im a guy who wasn't able to finish high school and failed when I was there lol. I am actually planning on going back with a friend who has his drone covered with them after christmas.

I have heard that they will want to see your purchase receipt to fix value and perhaps your Mavic to verify that it is working.

People get different responses for different reasons. First, how much commission do you think an agent makes on $60 per year? Next to nothing. So they may not want to waste their time. This may be another reason why they tell people another policy is needed. Another reason some say it is not possible is because they simply don't know and they can't be bothered to find out.

Yea i went back with a friend who had it and get got them on level. But like the guy said above, they wanted a purchase recipt but i got it from amazon, and my emails are all gone because i had to reset my password and whan i do that it corrupts all the emails. Thats how protonmail works. So i have no email. But i am very very poor and couldn't afford what they wanted anyway, with my current bills it will take me while to save up to afford anything. The only reason i got my mavic which im being told is not a good drone at all btw, was because i had money already saved up from before and because of a deposit i got back from the place i lived at before.

I used to have my Mavic Pro insured through State Farm but after they covered my loss once (paid for the fly more package too) they would not insure my Mavic Pro 2. I guess they realized insuring drones was a bad idea.

If you have access to the Amazon ID you used to purchase you can get the receipt emailed to you again. If not you can call Amazon customer service and they can verify your identity and send the receipt to your new email address.

The Mavic is not a bad drone it is a very good drone, so don't listen to those who tell you otherwise, they do not know what they are talking about. You made a wise and good purchase of a Mavic.
Thank you for your kindness. Yea the mavic is my favorite drone now. I am actually very poor and had to sell many things i loved as well as save up for a while just to get it. So yea, i like it as its better than my spark, its just people keep telling me the camera shoots horrible 4k and brakes too easy or the mbps and processing power ruins the camera and i am told this by like, everyone and its just kind of depressing to hear even though i knew nothing about that. I was told it was a great drone so i got it. I just don't like being told all this extra stuff because i am a positive person and feel like there are people who just can't stand that sometimes.
