Still photo resolution

The above posters are correct - the low quality photos you are seeing are a tiny preview JPEG embedded in the RAW file. Don't worry, this isn't your actual photo file.

If you want to view them properly on the iPad, you will need something that can open a DNG file, such as Affinity Photo or Photoshop, both of which unfortunately are horrible for dealing with more than one photo at a time, but it will allow you to at least view them. If the software can't recognize a DNG file, it is going to show you that tiny JPEG instead even though the file name might still show "DNG".

Another thing you can do is just shoot RAW + JPEG, and use the full sized JPEGs for quick viewing on the iPad.

This is a different thing. The DNG contains a low resolution ,low quality JPG that it uses to show the preview image. He has the full image but whatever software he's using is only seeing the jpg.
Ahhh I understand now.

Another reason I hate Apple Products. They make everything so much more of a hassle. No compliant with so many things. Android will do everything so much easier and except all files, and SD cards for storage. Apple is so paranoid and over priced. Over rated to. Only reason they are popular is because the phones are easy to use, but so limited on what you can do. Rant over. Lol
Well, I guess that's not related, as the iPad Pro may not know the file system on the SD card (we had a similiar issue not so long ago), although it should at least read ExFat.
If you can see the full resolution on your PC, everything is fine. Then we can work out that you can access them on Apple too.

I would recommend to switch to the internal memory, hook the drone up via USB cable and see if the photos have full resolution.
