Some say not to keep the batteries on a full charge for more than 2 days. Is it true ?

How to update the batteries ?
Put them in drone & connect to dji assistant 2 that's all ?

Or is there any other method ?

M2 batteries are designed to auto-discharge to a storage level after 10 days of inactivity so it will not hurt them to leave them charged.

Go 4 will let you know if the battery firmware needs updating. I have not had to do this since initial startup almost two years ago.

It's best not to charge the batteries unless you're going to using them. If you aren't able to use them a few times a year after charging them, it's okay to let the batteries automatically discharge back down to the storage level. Just don't make that a weekly habit if you want your batteries to last a long time.

How to update the batteries ?
If the firmware on the currently installed battery needs to be updated, you'll see an "Inconsistent Firmware Found" message (like this) in DJI GO. Slide the slider to update the firmware. The battery firmware is installed on the battery itself, so you might have to update your other spare batteries.

If you'd rather update the battery firmware via the DJI Assistant 2 application, insert the battery in your Mavic and connect it to the DJI Assistant 2 application. You'll see a prompt to update the firmware if needed. Repeat that process for each additional spare battery.
