Wow! Couldn't you buy that Island?I took my Mavic Pro out over the water for the first time holding my breath until it returned from a trip out to a lonely tree in the middle of a lake in east Texas. View attachment 67423
The water was high from recent flooding so I think once the water goes down some more it will be even better! Not sure there's even room for a tent right now - maybe a tree house?Wow! Couldn't you buy that Island?
I thought I should title it Gilligan's Island but there's not enough room for the Skipper and Professor much less Mary Ann...Texas version of deserted island. Looks like it is ready for a couple of castaways.
It was a great find just waiting for a drone!I really like the imagery of it.
Thank you! I'll for sure keep the altitude in mind - thank you!Amazing shot. Flying over water can be nerve racking, but the more you do it the easier it gets, just maintain a decent altitude and you're golden. Thanks for sharing.
Love this photo! You got a good angle on it and the colors are GREAT!Great shots[emoji106].
Need to send these two on a Date.

Thank you! I'd love to take mine to Alaska - it's so beautiful. I'd love to see your photos. Jasper and Lake Sam Rayburn are a couple hours south of Marshall. If you do go, this was taken from Twin Dikes boat ramp - there are a few islands around close to the boat ramp and loved the photos I got.Nice vid, I’m from east Texas (Marshall, Texas), but never been to this area. I’d like to shoot that area now and after the water recedes. Any idea how far that is from Marshall? Great job and yes it does get easier to fly over water after a while. Took my MPZ up to Alaska and fly it out over the ocean. It was both exhilarating and scaring but I’d do it all over again. Thanks for sharing.
