sUAS News: DJI Security Assessment

If they all fell out of the sky today, it wouldn’t matter a bit.
Right if you are not dependent then you are not worried. But lots of people claim dependence. And DJI Head of Global Policy says 460,000 American jobs at risk. Of course, maybe he is exaggerating...

Exclusive DJI interview: 460,000 American jobs and public safety at risk says Head of Global Policy

And what might happen to the US drone market?

Adam W: And I just want to make one thing clear, though. I mean, it's not like this is just DJI that gets harmed. I mean, you know this, right? If if if you look at the harm to American businesses, this is the shocking thing, right? There's about 460,000 jobs that are supported through the use of DJI products across the United States. We are 70 plus percent of the market. You know, when they were interviewed, you know, small service providers said two-thirds of their membership would go out of business if they didn't have access to our products. I mean, this is a lot of collateral damage. Not to mention the police, firefighters, search and rescue teams that use our products to keep their their people safe or to find and and and help people in in distress. Yeah. The collateral damage, right?

Yes no doubt many people including myself will need to find a new source of income when we can no longer replace or repair our drones.
This conversation started as “prove to me how bad actors can use drone footage to harm national security”. It has turned into a discussion about what happens to jobs after the ban. Im still wanting to know the answers from the original question; How is drone footage a threat to national security.

How is drone footage a threat to national security.
You served in the military and held a classified security clearance, correct? During your service, did any of your instructors or commanding officers ever tell you which state actors pose the greatest threats to America's national security and why? Who exactly were you protecting us from and against what kinds of threats?

Why are you asking me about "drone footage?" I am talking about the risk of dependence on a valuable resource like oil and gas or a technology like drones. Would you agree that the drone has revolutionized warfare in three years? Did you listen to the Vic Moss video and hear him say that "First Responders" in America are 90% dependent on DJI drones and that if they did not work many people will die?
