You did a great job capturing a very beautiful place! The music matched the video very well.
I've seen pictures and video of the area, but not personally familiar. Is this the Canadian side? I see you're in Toronto.

HI PW, yes that is on the Canadian side which is to say it is a much nicer being in Canada looking at the USA than being in the USA and looking at all the ugly Canadian Casinos/hotels that dominate the landscape on the opposite shore. : (

Hi GreatSign, Yes I did, it was an interesting process. The air space is classed as F (restricted) so you need an advanced pilot license to fly and also get permission from the agency with the restriction in this case Transport Canada. There is still a fair bit of confusion with TC and their procedures are very much a work in progress. It took 3 attempts before they responded with an approval which generally takes 2 weeks per request so for me it was over a month. In the end you need to get approval from the NAV Canada app, Transport Canada, Niagara Region Parks and DJI.
Back in the '80's there was a mid air collision with two sight seeing helicopters so everyone is very jumpy at TC. I checked with the tour operators as to when their flights start to make sure I as out of the air by the time they were going up : ) I also had to be careful not to fly into US air space as this would have been a violation of TC granted flight permission.
So glad you liked the shots and I hope to go back to the Falls in 2023.
Wow you certainly had to go through the hoops to get this flight approved. Well done to persevere and also a lovely film. Presume you popped in for a nice ice wine after the flight!

The sunrise colour reflections on the first leg of the flight were very nice.
Overall reverse of the flight works well, and music relaxing to suit.

I enjoyed this film immensely. I loved the flying, the sunrise, and the flying. I thought that the color balance was a bit on the cyan side (blue). I know it was sort of like a blue hour but I would have tried to warm the water to white in the falls a bit.
