Nice video. Is there any risk of the sun damaging the sensor with 15 minutes of being in the frame?

I doubt the strength of the sun as sunrise or sunset is sufficient to damage a sensor and bearing in mind each exposure is very short - it's not like the sensor was exposed for the full 15 minutes rather 10's of seconds over that period.

Beautiful Video. Wish I not so lazy and could get up for sunrise. Also would help if I knew how to shoot a decent video.

Oh, so it was continuous video just sped up in post and not a timelapse?

Correct.
I do Timelapse/ Hyperlapse with video acceleration.
I know there is more control with each shot but at 1pic/2s, it is just too fast and blotchy for my taste.
Not to mention too short.
Full battery for the MA gets me 12-16 seconds with the preferred method.
