Mini 2 Sunset reflecting on a lake in Florida

Ive never dabbled in using filters … yet. One person said that, when you put a filter on it just causes the shutter speed to slow down. I’m sure there have been lots of discussions on it and I should look them up. How have you found using them ? Have they come in handy or are you still experimenting ?

Hey there Platty, I've only used polarizing filters on 35mm cameras way back in the day.
I didn't know they had them for the drones. I do have a set of filters but find that it does cut down on the light and I find I have to land the craft to take it off to get those late in the day shots I want. Not flying enough keeps me from learning more about filters. I did have a photography book I bought back in the day where I learned all sorts of cool stuff. Maybe I'll find this book again in my storage and brush up. Cool photo you shared though. Thanks for that, it's inspiring!

Awesome photo!
