Tablet keeps restarting

I use a Nexus 7 to control my Mavic, usually with Litchi, and usually doing waypoint missions.

Lately I've noticed that my tablet often just goes blank suddenly, then I see the Android starting sequence, then I get control back again. I *think* this has also happened with the Go 4 app, but I seldom use that, so I'm not sure.

Obviously, having a tablet restart itself like this in the middle of a flight could be disastrous, as it takes about 2 minutes to get up and running again.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Check USB Debugging is enabled.

Ensure neither app is set as default for USB accessories.

Google the bold text if you're unsure how to do that.

Thanks for that advice Flawless.

I tried doing that but it hasn't worked. The tablet still restarts about 2 or 3 mins into a flight. I checked and the tablet was still set at usb debugging..

I wonder what else it could be? It only only started happening recently.

If all else fails, a total wipe via factory reset might be in order. If that does not resolve, perhaps it could be a hardware or performance issue related to excessive load/temperatures.
