Tablet question

I'd like to run my Mini 2 with a tablet rather than a phone, but I don't want to have to mess around with special brackets or adaptors.

Are there any suitable tablets that fit the Mini 2 controller without an adapter?

My IPad Mini 5 was really unreliable, display dimming, etc. and I picked up a Tripltek 8 Pro tablet about a month ago and it’s been working out great for me. I think most if not all true tablets will be too big to use with the Mini 2 or Air 2S controller without a separate mount, but this accessory to the tablet (vs. the controller) is very compact, doesn’t need installation every time you fly, and doesn’t impeded normal use of the tablet when not flying. Unfortunately the remote is made for a phone and you'll need this as a minimum to hold a tablet.

The stock cables still work with this adaptor.

I used this for my Apple Mini 4 before I got the Tripletek Pro.

You can use the Tripletek by installing the hand strap that comes with it and then sliding that over the extended bracket of the remote. As long as you are not too wild with the remote, it will stay on. I've done a few flights with it and haven't felt the need for a dedicated holder.
