Are there any recommended sun shades for use with an 8" tablet? Just picked up my first drone recently and the sun glare makes using a tablet outside impossible.

Just checking if there are any recommended shades to use.

Thanks

You can find a list of commonly used sun shades here.

Hi naiku,
Here is a repeat from an earlier reply about sunshades for tablets and controllers.

Thanks for your interest in my "Ground Station Controller Wigwam" -
(not sure what to call it so this will do for now!)

See the attached images I took earlier today, they say a picture
is worth a thousand words, so here is a few thousand eh!

The materials used to build this, all came from a local hardware
store. I used aluminium tubing, some pine wood and 3 ply, The main
cover is 3mm depron foam which is light and strong enough for the
job, several screws, small bolts, wing nuts etc were used as well
as Foam safe "Sikaflex" PVA glue.

I cannot give you an accurate cost at this time, but can safely
say it would not have cost me much more than AU$ 100. Plus took me
about 35 - 40 hours - planning, designing and construction, to give
you an idea of whats involved. It weighs about 4lbs with Samsung
Tab "A" and the controller installed.

The Samsung Tab A slides easily in and out of the foam lined slot,
is easy to get at the screen touch controls, very simple yet strong,
easy to adjust and wear etc.

Depending on the interest shown by others, I could get more serious
about production of this device.

To be honest I don't see myself being able or interested in the
actual construction or sales of this very useful item, but could be
persuaded to cooperate in design/ manufacture by anyone interested
in running with it (for a reasonable commission or royalty etc...)
What do you think?

All I will say - is that is really a whole new way to fly a Mavic
or any drone for that matter. The "Wigwam" allows much more
relaxing and enjoyable precision control over any "aerocamera".

I'm very happy with this unit and will not fly without it now!
It is a really safe and precise way to go.

Hope this helps, please feel free to comment and any suggestions
appreciated.

Cheers,
