I launched and retrieved from my boat for the first time yesterday. The area in question has a slight incline to it. The propellers and camera appeared to have adequate clearance, but if a gust of wind, or some glitch occurred, I suppose it could cause an issue.

I realize most people are launching from land, and have acccess to a flat surface, but wondering if anyone has had any issues landing or taking off from an uneven surface as I described above?

I noticed there are some aftermarket leg extenders out there. Would this be advantageous?

If you are going launch and land from questionable surfaces, then extended landing gear is a no brainier I'd say.

Learn how to hand catch & land.

I received a warning stating that ground was unsuitable to land.
