The take-off icon on the left doesn't respond to me pressing it. If I press it hard enough my phone vibrates and the gimbal movements become available.
What am I missing here?
Also for the life of me I can't find the D-Cinelike option in the menu...shouldn't it be under camera where the normal option is?
Thanks as always,
Randy

You are starting the motors first, before you press the take-off icon?

That shouldn't be required:

Auto take-off won't work if the Aircraft Status Indicator isn't blinking green though. That could be for one of a number of reasons: for example, a lack of a GPS lock.

I'm not sure what you mean but I do what is listed in the manual under auto takeoff.
I've done it many times before but it wouldn't respond today (I wound up just doing the down and in on the sticks).
I just realized after looking at the manual again that I may not have been in camera view when I tried it today.
Can you tell me how you do it?

yes, that's what I do but is it mandatory that one needs to be in camera view?
That would explain everything.

How do you even see the "take-off button" if you're not in the camera view screen ?
I would probably restart the phone and or uninstall/ reinstall the DJI Fly app.

Maybe an uninstall/reinstall is in order?

Make sure your looking in the Video sub menu for D-cinelike

Yes that's where I was but after going out this morning and having the same issues (no auto takeoff, no D-Cinelike) I came back with the intention of doing a reinstall.
I opened DJI Assistant and saw that I needed an update (I thought I just did the latest a couple of days ago).
Anyway, went thru the process and all is well now.
Thanks everyone,
Randy

Did you update all of your batteries when you did the update last time?

After I updated the drone and the first battery, I powered it down, put in a new battery and waited a couple of minutes for it to do it's thing then the battery firmware update showed up. I did have to back out into the startup screen of the app on one of them for it to show up, then back into camera view before the update showed but just took a little patience. Good luck. Hope it works out for you!

Was this done thru DJI assistant or no?

It didn't work here.
I tried waiting in the opening screen and then pushed go fly a couple times and then with a different battery...it just doesn't prompt me.
I wonder if there's a way to manually do it?
Thanks,
Randy

You could try through the DJI assistant. That requires you to power up the drone and plug it into your computer. Off hand, I'm sure there is somewhere in the app that should tell you the battery firmware version to make sure they are all updated but I'm not certain where in the app you would find it. Some of the guys that are more knowledgable than me could probably tell you.
