I used to go there as a kid “Giant Rock” with my father riding our dirt bikes back in the late 60’s / early 70’s. I haven’t been there in decades since I took my kids there on our dirt bikes. Interesting place for sure and loved the desert.I was driving and my Son in law controlled the drone. Lucky he didn’t hit any of those bushes. As far as where we were going, coming from my Landers cabin to a local landmark called Giant Rock. Very interesting history. You should check it out instead of suspecting me of “questionable cargo”. I’m a member of a SoCal military vehicle club. We acquire and restore surplus military vehicles. I was driving an Austrian built troop carrier called a Pinzgauer. A very capable off road vehicle.
