I would like to get some Ariel shots of my static caravan but the only place i can take off is on the decking that runs along the side of my caravan i am wondering weather this is possible or will my mavic pro be affected by the structure of the caravan (magnetic interference) or the one next to it any advice please

It may but its likely you would have a compass error or something like that. If it boots up normally and gets a gps lock and everything appears normal then you should be okay. If its anything but normal don't risk it.

Have you tried hand launching and landing? It is really easy and allows you to take off in any terrain.

I take off from the decking at my caravan almost every weekend. The aluminium panels cause no copmpass errors. Because it is such a small area I use the " precision take off ".
