Taking photos of home construction

Im new to the Air. My boss is building a new home and wants to take overhead photos of the build. Is there a way to program the Air to go to the same spot each time its flown to get the same photo each time to show the progress of the build? I didn't know if you could set a wave point. I know how to set the height, just not the location.

I’ve been doing this for a new sub next to me for a few years now. I just get an approximate spot and shoot a few pics each week. I give a thumb drive to the new owners once I meet them ( sometimes months/yrs) after the fact. They really think it’s a cool gift. This was all before waypoints and Auto pilot stuff too. I’m pretty sure there’s members here that’ll guide you right [emoji106].

Waypoints can be used from within DJI GO4 .

Look into Drone Harmony planner, you can create a mission and then simply fly it every day and get the same set of photos

Litchi works as well. I have used this app for various projects and the waypoint works great.

Nope. The Mavic Air is not compatible with Litchi either (yet).
