The different between mavic pro & mavic 2 pro & mavic 2 zoom

Hi, question, is the Mavic pro 2 having the same zoom facility than mavic zoom? is the variable aperture include de facto the zoom feature? thanks

The Mavic 2 Pro has no zoom function at all. I have ordered the Pro version for best picture and video quality available in the prosumer-market

Good question. I don’t have the answer, but I hear what your saying. A Full 1 inch sensor should be able to digitally zoom and achieve the same quality of a (Zoomed) 1/3 inch sensor up to a certain margin. It would be interesting to see some comparisons.

Can't think of a reason for Pro version to be without digital zoom. It's more expensive so they should not care about overlapping features from the Zoom version. I would like digital zoom for scouting wildlife. I need the low light performance of the 1" sensor because best wildlife scouting is in low light.

Tried but you cannot zoom in with the M 2 Pro
However the 4K resolution comes in 2 modes - HQ and Full FOV. Difference is explained here
