The first footage from our Anglesey day out, the coastal ruins of Porthwen Old Brickworks, it is a bit of a trek down, and was muddy and rocky in places, but worth the effort to get there and back...

The weather was stunning, 8C and sunny, which made it feel warmer in the shelter of the bay, but some higher winds were more exposed...

We started with the AI3, capturing the cinematic viewpoints, then the AVATA2 for the close-in flying, exploring the structure and flying through a few gaps. All in all an enjoyable place to visit and fly...

I like these old sites Suzanne & really well captured.
Interesting place for a brickworks & then it all shuts down.
Thanks, it was definitely a fun place to fly, shame it has closed down, but it does leave some picturesque ruins to play with...

A masterclass - excellent job :)
Thanks, I wouldn't go that far, still room for improvement, one or two shots with not quite smooth enough transitions and wandering focal points - the perils of being a perfectionist, I can see the issues to the nth degree, but it isn't too shabby :)

Nicely done, Suzanne! Beautiful place for a brickworks. Does seem a bit remote for such a thing, but it's probably the access to the water that makes it ideal. You're getting real smooth with your fly throughs.

Thanks, it was situated there as lots of quartzite, for making fire bricks...

An absolutely wonderful video and a very interesting lot of ruins beautifully shown.
Thank you kindly, it was an interesting place to fly, and lots of fun to do :)

The color and sharpness are quite nice. The area is perfect for your flying which was very professional. My only wish is for more spots where you hovered so we could examine the structures. The endless motion made it harder to enjoy the details and the spinning climb away from the building was making me sea sick. That's just me however. I love watching your videos - you get to some really interesting areas!

Thanks, glad they are enjoyed... Yeah, I can take that onboard, will try for some more detail in future rather than just movement... Can always see what it looks like and then do the appropriate edit with what is captured..
