Awesome place! I was there 2 years ago. So epic and loved the contrast with the green grass right next to the sand dunes.

Thanks everyone. The Gobi desert surprised me at how green it is. It is a high desert with more rainfall than our southwest deserts in the US and extremely cold in the winter, so best suited for small trees, bushes and grasses. Great place to fly drones and friendly people. Really cool to see that they are able to keep their traditional nomadic lifestyle going.
