I went out and captured our first winter storm big waves of the season.
Wow - where's that SteveCA?
Spectacular - what was the wind like?
Awsome! Yes, indeed as danybgoode asks you what was the wind like? how did your drone hold up to it? Was it a Mavic or ?
Winds were minor 15-20mph. My Mavics have flown just fine in 30 mph winds.
Yeah they are brilliant in the wind. Even my MA has ever let me down in some really quite nasty English weather. And the way the image on the video feed stays eerily still - I sometimes have to check it hasn’t frozen
40 minutes south of San Francisco. I grew up there. They don't have winter.Picture quality is outstanding Steve, the 1st of many winter storms we’ll see hitting use this winter

Waves and more. The whole area is fantastic. I moved there when I was 6 years old, and the whole area was waaaaay less populated than it is now. I was just there this thanksgiving though it was less fantastic because of the Camp Fires smoke, and four days of rain after 220 days of no rain; hence no real chance to fly other than Thanksgiving day itself, and that would have been bad family relationsYou grew up there? what a cool place to grow up! I bet you didn’t know these huge sea caves were just under your nose back then...
I accidentally stumbled upon these for the first time two years ago with my Mavic Pro. I had to do a double take lol.
