Winds were minor 15-20mph. My Mavics have flown just fine in 30 mph winds.

Yeah they are brilliant in the wind. Even my MA has ever let me down in some really quite nasty English weather. And the way the image on the video feed stays eerily still - I sometimes have to check it hasn’t frozen

smart man! my screen froze once while flying. The bird was moving at 30mph but the video feed showed a static feed. Moral of the story is don’t always trust what you see lol...

I accidentally stumbled upon these for the first time two years ago with my Mavic Pro. I had to do a double take lol.

I’m keeping an eye on the marine forecast. Hoping to capture a 30+ footer crashing over the top of those cliffs one day. Those cliffs look to be between 80-100 feet high in my estimation.

Waves and more. The whole area is fantastic. I moved there when I was 6 years old, and the whole area was waaaaay less populated than it is now. I was just there this thanksgiving though it was less fantastic because of the Camp Fires smoke, and four days of rain after 220 days of no rain; hence no real chance to fly other than Thanksgiving day itself, and that would have been bad family relations
