I can understand the lobbyists and politicians running with the narrative of it being a " reckless civilian drone operator ", it fits with their agenda of getting DJI out of the U.S. and imposing further restrictions on recreational flying.

I don't quite get the silence of on the part of Texas Law Enforcement though. I'm guessing part of it is due to them not wanting to reveal incompetence or negligence on their part, but given that it doesn't sound like the Blackhawk sustained significant/any damage their silence really just doesn't make sense.
