I hope this is allowed.

Petition
We want the U.K Government to repeal the Online Safety act.
We believe that the scope of the Online Safety act is far broader and restrictive than is necessary in a free society.
For instance, the definitions in Part 2 covers online hobby forums, which we think do not have the resource to comply with the act and so are shutting down instead.
We think that Parliament should repeal the act and work towards producing proportionate legislation rather than risking clamping down on civil society talking about trains, football, video games or even hamsters because it can't deal with individual bad faith actors.

You're just be providing more risk to your personal details online only to be stolen by hackers and then used to access your bank accounts, open new credit cards, get new forms of ID, and forge other official documents.

Meaning, the more often you start to share your personal details on various websites, the more likely your data will be leaked.

For better or for worse, I get a lot of my information from my favorite UK barrister on YT:

I see what you meant now, I wont be giving any details to anyone if they cannot use email to verify they they can go to hell, all that will happen is VPN providers will make a bit more money as people get round this stupid sledgehammer to crack a nut policy.

When you drill down into this: it really is a wolf in sheeps clothing... 1984: 41 years late.
