Today's capture, roughly 20 acre in size, had a narrow opportunity of an hour and a half to shoot as most of today was dense fog. So managed to get a window of where the visibility actually was greater than 2 miles, and the cloud base was at 800 feet, with a max altitude of 200 feet. (most of the remainder of the day was between 100-400 feet cloud base and visibility of a mile or less).
Though it made a good capture day, complete overcast to minimize shadows, about 2mph ground wind, was able to set the cruising speed to 8mph.
A crop of the above next to the previous capture I did shortly after our blizzard weekend. During last week we had a "heat wave" of being in the upper 50s melting our foot and a half of snow.
The flight path for today's run.
3D is still kind of *shrug* but based on other examples it seems kind of on par especially for not being buildings.
