what city are you in? if it is the US they can't prevent you from flying, they can restrict take-off/landing on city-owned land

Yes, Seattle is one of those places. No flying from streets, parks, waterfronts, etc. I can fly from my lot or other private lots (with permission) and might be able to then fly out over those restricted places but it is not easy. Tall trees, electric and phone lines, street lights.... pretty darn urban. Losing signal could be a real problem and RTH on my rather confined lot could also be a problem.

The more I dig into where to fly, the less space I find. :/ makes me wonder about the purchase. Only hope I see is incorporating it with the visual company I work for
