Thinking of selling a Mavic Pro with fly more kit and a few more extras including a set of filters & an iPad Air2.
All in great condition with boxes but I don't know what asking price to put on it.
Only selling as I want a smart controller & extra battery's for my MP2.
Was thinking around the £900 / $1100mark.
You guys think that's reasonable ?

the price you quoted ,would in normal times be perfectly reasonable
however due to the recent release of the MA2, plus the covid issue we are facing right now
you might have a problem achieving that sort of figure, also there will be quite a lot of similar models for sale as well
i think that a reasonable price right now would be £600 to £700 i hope you can get more good luck in your endeavours OMM

I’d check completed listings on eBay and see what the going rate is. I looked at selling my original Mavic last year (boxed, like new), and I’ll be honest - I didn’t bother as it felt like giving it away.

I did look but none included an iPad

I agree with old man Mavic, under normal times a used bundle Mavic such as yours would go for a reasonable price.

With today’s situation, $600 to $700 for fly more with extras would probably be more in line without the iPad. Sell them separately, It’s going to get even tougher as time moves forward, I would break the package and sell bundle and iPad separately.

Good luck,
Paul

1st Ask yourself...Do I still fly the MP? If No...sell it right away...if yes see 2nd Question
2nd How often? If you answer 2 to 5 times a month Sell it.... if 7 - 10 times see 3rd
3rd Do I fly it just to fly, not making money with it....Sell it..... the longer you keep it the less you recoup .(Cash)

So if you have a good running M2P or Zoom that really replaces the MP Come up with a reasonable sale price for it and you will be able to get your Smart Controller

That is exactly my way of thinking.
No I don't fly it since I got the MP2 so it may as well go.
I have a Xiaomi 4k that I should have sold when I got the MP, its pointless now as its value has dropped drastically, I do use the Xiaomi now and then when conditions are bad or I want to try something stupid, rather lose that than the MP2.
Handing the sale over to my son with all his social media contacts / marketplaces.

The good thing is you have the Xiaomi to use it the way you just explained because you sure dont want to use the MP that way.

My first real camera drone is the Yuneec Q500 that ki should of sold as soon as I bought the MPP. I had a $500 offer and did not take it so I'm sitting on it and no one wants it now. I get $200 offers and $150 offer the other day. People knows the technology surpassed the Q now.... one guy wanted it to experiment with by making it light as possible and RIP the camera out (excellent video producer) and. Mount a fpv camera and fly it like one of those quad screamers. I cant see it use that way because we basically know the outcome. So I keep it as if it's a 1970 Buick Stage 1 455 cu. Classic car. Well the Buick analogy doesn't sound right anyway...you know my meaning...
