The only problem with that one is it's very slow. It only puts out 2 amps to each battery whereas this one charges twice as fast at 4 amps per battery. The devil's in the details.

The important word in DJIs reply is "currently".

It doesn't mean no. It just means not at this time.

Yeah this is super-annoying, esp. considering they've finally gotten their controller lineup somewhat meaningful, i.e. they interoperate pretty well among latest drones. Force-selling one more screened controller to people is just idiotic also from enviromental reasons, let alone pricing-wise for the purchaser.

Cunning way to tempt people to fork out the extra for a combo with an upgraded controller to their existing one, I almost bought the RC Pro combo because I already own the DJI RC and N1 controllers, but I still think the RC Pro is far too expensive for what it is, so in the end I ordered the DJI RC fly more combo, I'll sell the spare RC with my Mavic 3.
