Thoughts on using a device within the controller arms or a larger device?

Well I really like mine, but to each their own. The thing people need is to have reasonable setup/tear down and image they need to see details.

I'm not keen with these holders obscuring the RC LCD screen or placing the tablet so much higher above the RC.

I use mine flipped from the picture with them stem at the bottom. Puts the tablet below the display and the tablet rests comfortably on you forearms. Love it.

Mav mount with either the 5.5 or 7"ultra bright Crystal Sky. Yes I do wish I could see the controller display but rarely need it. A big bright display makes it much more easy to see & frame my targets. Too bad the Ultra bright cost so much. I just hope DJI will still support it on their newer models down the road.

I've had a handful of flights with the Galaxy Tab S3 and so far I'm impressed with the setup as the positioning and size of the display makes it much easier to frame shots. It's not that much more hassle to set up although the weight is going to take some getting used to.
