Time Lapse Building Construction Video

Looking to do a time lapse video of the construction of an office building. I’m thinking that I want to fly the same circular orbit week after week but don’t know how to do this. I assume I need to learn how to program a flight but have no idea how. Would appreciate any advice / tips as well as seeing any time lapse construction videos that any others have done. Thanks!

If you do not want to purchase another application like Lichti then you may use DJIGO4. One can program a Waypoint Mission and fly it over and over again. Go into Intelligent Flight Modes and then click Waypoint. From there fly the Mavic to the first point that you would like to start the Mission. Presss the C1 Key on the Bottom of the Remote Controller. You have just saved the first waypoint. Now fly to the next point. Get your camera pointed towards the direction that you want it. Click C1 again. You have now set Waypoint 2. Continue this process as you fly the path around the construction area.

Then make sure the last Waypoint is very near to your takeoff / home point so that at the end of the Mission the Mavic is near you and can be landed.

Save the Waypoint Mission. Then just load it from the Waypoints section each time.

I suggest you setup a few waypoint missions in an open area beforehand so you get the hang of the process.

Another Option is to pay for Lichti - App Store or Google Play Store.

Then one can create a waypoint mission that can be flown over and over again using the online Mission Planner that Lichti offers. No need to prefly the mission at the site as it can be created online and then uploaded to the Mavic.

Lichti is also more precise in terms of flying to the waypoints from what others have indicated and I have determined myself.

If you go this route there is a great tool here on the forums that allow one to previsualize a Lichti mission using Google Earth it known as Lichti Virtual Mission or VLM for short.
