I'm considering a ground station due to the dense tall forests in my area and keep seeing Titan Drones as a viable option but can't find an official website (looks like it's been taken down: https://www.titandronesinc.com/ and their FB page shows "Temporarily Closed"). Does anyone know the story on this company?

You might check with covertdrones.com
They have quite a bit of the antenna and ground station stuff, and they do have Titan Drones products listed on their site.

Best of luck - I would definitely be interested in hearing about your experiences with whatever antenna or amplifier you do get.

Your post is quite a coincidence...I actually had Covert Drones install the Alientech 2.4 Ghz on my Smart Controller this past week (I shipped it to them on Wednesday afternoon and had it back by Friday mid-day). I've seen a huge benefit when I'm in open areas, which was my primary goal (I went 3.5 miles out), where now the flying limitation to my Mavic 2 is the 30 minute battery rather than the controller's signal. It's not quite as helpful in less open areas. For when I'm near my house where there are forests (my subdivision is named "Tall Oaks"), instead of only 0.5 mile it will go a mile, but he mentioned that the 2.4 Ghz is more for open spaces (which is initially what I wanted) where as the 5.8 Ghz is for when there are obstructions. I may also order the 5.8 because after his modifications it's just a quick swap between the two, depending where I'm flying. Alternatively, if I'm looking to fly around my home I might just get the ground station which is why I'm researching Titan on the internet.

Its good to hear that the Alientech has a positive effect on your flying.

When I try to access the Titan Drones webpage my security software throws up a alarm of " unmatching security certificate " and brings things to a sudden halt.

Hopefully they are just doing some work on their webpage and have just not taken care of this little detail.

I haven't seen any new YouTube videos from them or new posts on their Facebook page in 2 years which makes me think they're out of business. It could be a one-person operation where they prefer to just work with distributors like Covert Drones, but that's what I'm trying to ascertain.

Reach out to James for some recommendations on the heavily wooded area, trees however are a real challenge as they absorb and scatter the signal

I decided to text the owner of Covert Drones (Lucas) about this (he and I were texting last week when I sent my Smart Controller to be modified) and he called me back just now and said Titan Drones (James) took down its website but they're still building devices. After a detailed conversation with Lucas, I decided to buy the Dual band Command Case Mini which he builds for them (he said I'll have it within a week).

If you try to get to Titan Drones website now it redirects to CommandCase.com and that website is abandoned and for sale.

I think they must be out of business, the only model I've seen released in the last year is the Titan Switch 2.0.
