tracking another drone

You won't be able to use ActiveTrack to track another drone. It's designed for tracking larger / more visible subjects like vehicles, boats, and people.

I was able to do it , however as with all the Tracking , you need to keep straight and its likely on the turns if there to sharp you will loose it, but I think you can get a good result

I’ve done it. You can use some tracking functions, but not all. I used spotlight. And good old fashioned manual flying. It does require calibration of the camera view due to the wide angle lens to be effective because you have to get pretty close.

Here are my videos. My wife flew the subject drone in a given pattern and I flew the camera drone. It was a lot of work, and a lot of flight failures (no crashes though).

I've tracked drones manually but never tried to have the drone lock on to another drone. I don't think it's possible (yet) but happy to be proven wrong!

My brother-in-law and I had some fun with our drones a few years back. No active track or anything we just did some slow flying, and of course a few practice flights to get use to each others movements. We also made sure no sudden stops and if something did happened we had our safety plan in place.
I fly the Mavic 2 Pro and did the HQ full frame video which isn't a zoom but has a closer view of things. We're not a close to each other as the video shows. Here's an example...

Here's a better example.

Set the camera to HQ, not FOV. Turn on the cross hatch for the camera display. Keep the subject drone within the center square. Anything more and you are too close. Turn on Spotlight and set the target to the subject drone so the camera follows as it moves by. Fly only when wind speeds less than 5 mph.
