Tracking small objects

I want to shoot a tracking shot of a beer can rolling down a mild hill. Using active track, and tap it does not want to lock on, or if it does loses lock if the can moves quickly. Any thoughts on size, contract between can and surface or cans colour...

More contrast is better but I think You should do it manually because You can

I only use active track when I am filming myself. It will be much smoother for sure and if I am not wrong Mavic Air doesn't descend while tracking object so Your can will by smaller and smaller every second.
