Sorry to say, but I forgot what interval I used. Probably three or four since those are what I usually use for time lapses.
Don't know about the one second interval either; if the Air 2s does have a one-second interval, I never used it. Two is the shortest I've ever used for a time lapse.

I do a lot of timelapse with my digital camera (Nikon Z8). My go-to intervals are;

traffic , pedestrians- 1 second
clouds 3-4 seconds
moonrise,moonset, sunrise, sunset- 10-15 seconds
As far as I know, no interval one goes faster than 2 seconds which is not adequate for traffic, for my taste.
