Transfer of large files to social media...without quick transfer...

The quick transfer on my Mini 2 no longer works...I used to use it to transfer short videos straight from my phone to Facebook/whatsapp after editing on the go fly app. So now I have to plug my SD card into my lap top and edit there, but cant transfer edited videos to social media because the files are too large...How can I get around this problem?
