transfer of Litchi license

My Litchi app works fine on my Samsung S20 (bought though Google play). I now wish to use the app again on my smaller Samsung S7. Google play is now asking again for the 24.99$ fee to install Litchi on my S7. I'm using the same google account and the cellphones are both android. The S7 is not used as a cellphone anymore but is connected to my home WiFi. please help , thank you

i would check with Litchi themselves, maybe you can only have it on one device at a time, unless you purchase it for each device

Good advice Old Man, but I thought that if you bought an App via Google Store, you are allowed to install on multiple devices ??

Correct. I have Litchi as well and I am able to download in Multiples devices.

Did you use the same Google account on each device? If not, then Google Play sees you as a different user and won't have a record of the purchase under the other account.

Yes, use the same account.

Strange. Google Play should show what apps you own. If it lists Litchi as owned, shouldn't matter on what device you install it on.

However the app itself could check licensing. That's how Tello FPV does it.

I was using the wrong Google play account. ( just as most suggested) thank you all for the help. my lesson is learned.
