I was looking for a backpack for mountain hiking for the Mavic 4 Pro.A backpack that doesn't really have to have a case inside it, that's designed specifically for it, but one that can fit the drone, controller and 2 batteries.Nothing more than that.Anything would do, whether it's official or not.

Maybe something from the Shimoda brand? They are meant for hiking, rear entry, focused on camera gear which works well for drone gear as well.

The included Combo shoulder bag should fit inside most medium sized empty backpacks and would fully protect the drone, without adding too much bulk, and, because it would fully cover the OEM bag, would solve the problem of the shoulder bag popping open and being exposed to rainwater on the ends, as long as the backpack was waterproof.

These are very expensive.Near and over 300€.Maybe something close to 120€.Sorry for not mentioning above.
If you shop around, the Lowepro BP450 (maybe you like BP350) is an option I have. I would not call it a hiking backpack but it does have a waist belt and will carry the gear well. I have had as many as 3 drones and 2 cameras in the bag. It can be had around your price.

If you don't already have a backpack and are looking for both the pack and the padded bag for around $180 USD, you might consider an Osprey pack with a Shimoda drone bag. I own the Shimoda Core Unit - Drone Pro ($80 USD on Amazon), which is designed specifically to fit what you request - Mavic 4 Pro, RC Pro 2, and up to 3 batteries. The Osprey Daylite 26+6 comes highly recommended as a top notch yet budget-priced bag (about $100 USD). I do not have this bag but have a similarly-sized Aer City Pack Pro 2 XPac (much more expensive @ $239 USD), which fits the Shimoda with enough room for a good-sized power bank, a foldable landing pad, two laptops, and other incidentals. And when I'm not packing the drone, I use the pack for a laptop day pack and even a 2-nighter travel bag with intent to fit under the seat in an airplane is all configurations described. You can check out a review of the Osprey Daylite 26+6 (with several other packs including the Aer City Pack Pro 2) at

. I know my suggestions are more focused on city packs than hiking packs, but I thought I'd share my experience/research, since I know you were looking for a more budget-sensitive solution. GadgetGuy's solution is a good one, too - just use the bag that came with the combo and pack it in the backpack of your choice. I suggest using ChatGPT (or similar) to produce back pack options that meet your needs and also fit the drone bag you decide to use.

Spend an extra 100 or so and get one that is actually useful and will stand up to the Environment?

I have the Lowepro BP250 and its a perfect backpack I use for hiking or outings where I may be doing a little or lots of walking and even more particularly when I go biking on my MTB. It comfortablly and safely stores my Mavic 4 Pro, RC 2 Pro controller, batteries, spare props andaccessories plus have space for snacks etc. Its the perfect size and compartments; I'm so happy with it.
