How do you manage to travel with your drones when airlines refuse to accept batteries onboard?

Almost every airline I've seen allows the batteries to be in your carry on. You just can't put them under the plane due to risk of them catching on fire.

Where can i find "LiPo bags" ??

You can put tape across the contacts and put them individually in ziplock baggies. I then put all 4 in a gallon bag for my carry on. Didn’t need to pull them out because they are no bigger than cell phones.
Just completed trip back to Maui...

You travel with your Lipo batteries the same way as people travel with laptops, iPads, cameras, mobile phones etc.
They all have Lipo batteries too.

You find Lipo bags mentioned in these forums but you won't find them mentioned by any airlines, TSA or FAA on their websites where they discuss traveling with Lithium batteries.

Thanks guys!
No airline or air traffic authority suggests you use LiPo bags for travel.
The only place you'll find mention of them is forums like this.
If it was at all important, everyone else traveling with Lipo batteries would have to use them, not just drone flyers.
Lipo bags on planes are just another forum myth.

I just flew to and from the Philippines (New York). Drone and 3 extra batteries in DJI hard case. Through the xray machine and carried on the plane. No one asked or cared anything about it.

I did the same thing from MSP to MNL, was there for three months. Both directions involved two different airlines (China Southern and Delta), no problems at all.

Just flew to Antigua with 4 M2P batteries. I discharge to 25% and place them in Lipo bags. TSA couldn't care less about them, no issues at all.
They were however interested in my 10 year old English Harbor rum that was sealed in a duty free bag... it got through too!!FCD94F91531AE52C1029AE86EC10100B.jpeg90E63D574D4C14FB7B993BF794381FC2.jpeg
