Hi going to Maldives from uk with transfer in Dubai.
I have read you are now not allow drone in carry on luggage it has to be in the hold.
Has anyone been recently and had any trouble with it in carry on.
I have separate cases for remote and drone and batteries.
Do you think it would survive on hold if in hard case by itself. (do you think its worth it).
Should I just try and leave it in carry on case and hope for best.
Or don't take the risk and just leave it at home.
The reason I bought it was for holidays and gutted after reading this .
thanks guys

Seems pretty clear: you must check the drone in the hold, but carry the batteries in the cabin when flying Emirates. I would just put the hard case inside another one of my suitcases with sufficient padding (from clothes, etc).
