I think most people already know this but if the ban is automatically applied, there isn't going to ever be a new process whereby some type of audit must be conducted and the results evaluated and if not, DJI is automatically "unbanned." It never seems to work in the opposite. Coming off the list will probably take an act of Congress if it's even possible.

What's really idiotic is that DJI made this list with no audit, no investigation, nothing. Just politicians stoking the China fear. As always, they don't care about anything but themselves.

Possible yes, but not likely in this political climate.

Is it time to sell DJI drones and move to another brand? Or will other brands be affected as well?

What other brand has the features, quality and price point of DJI? I think its time to buy. If I can get 6 years out of my Mavic 4Pro and Mini 5 I will be good. Maybe by then the US will have caught up some but I am afraid the price will be sky high.

I hadn't even looked for another brand, and as you say there's no real competition out there. Only real choice is to sit tight and hope for the best.
