Tri-pod option

I find the Mavic controller to be so small with my man hands that it's hard to hold it up with an iPad and control buttons/functions while maintaining proper aim. Here is my tripod set up for the Mavic. Has anybody else got some tripod ideas to share?
Once it's on the tripod you wouldn't believe how steady and rock solid it is, it feels like a whole different controller. I don't have links where to find the parts are used because they were just things lying around from other mods.
I really like the way this turned out and can't wait to use it.

What sort of mount is that? or did you make it yourself.. looks pretty great. My ipad 4 mini didnt get here yet, i was planning on just cramming it into the holders or getting a holder adapter off amazon.. unsure (have a thread on this topic here)
