Flew around a bit at sunrise in a park this morning then saw an avenue of trees that had some tasty symmetry. Flicked her into tripod mode and was greeted with a ‘You’re in a NFZ and ... can’t remember the exact wording but it said something about hovering and the drone being in control of itself essentially.’ Three questions.. (1) I checked I wasn’t in an NFZ though was near one, and if i was, why was i fine flying around in a less controlled ( P ) mode in the first place?!, (2) What does it actually mean it will do? And (3) Has anyone ignored that message and flown anyway? Anything odd happen? I just landed and walked off a bit miffed!

It's entirely possible that your GPS location was wrong due to proximity (GPS timing signals can reflect off trees and buildings, and if your device doesn't get a direct signal but receives the reflected one, it's going to get an erroneous location result).
