Trouble activating Mavic

I've just bought a Mavic, and when I get the message come up to activate, I get to the end for it to say 'no network connection detected'. This is cos I connect to the mavics wifi as this is the only time I ever get the activate option. Someone please help.

Ensure the Control Mode Switch is toggled to "RC" (not Wi-Fi)

When I have it to RC I don't get the option to activate it??

Lets go step by step.

Power off the Mavic
Put it in RC Mode.
connect your phone to the remote
turn on your phone and run the DJI app
power up the remote
power up the Mavic
it should connect and give you the option to activate.

If this is not working make sure the Mavic and the Remote are paired.

Try the pairing re the video instruction and repeat the above steps when they are paired.

The remote and mavic connect to eachother, but when I do anything with the thumb sticks it says 'unactivated see app' but nothing appears on the app

Lets go step by step.

Power off the Mavic

Delete the app and reset your phone then reinstall the app.
BTW you do have an account with DJI?
