Trying To Source a Cable - For iPhone In Case

Hey guys....a real noob question, I suppose. But I've been searching.

I've taking the Otterbox Commuter off my iPhone 8 every time I fly the Mini and it's getting old. I've been looking for a cord I can use with my iPhone in it's case and an iPad. I currently have an older iPad I can try too.

I did order a mount for the phone or tablet....but want to understand the cable.

I've seen a couple recommendations in these forums, but some are out of stock, etc.

Also, I've seen recommendations of using a USB Micro to female USB adapter...then the standard cord that came with the iPhone, iPad, etc. Any problems to using these USB adapters?

I felt your pain and I too have an OtterBox on my iPhone X. I picked up the cable from Drone Valley which works well.

Rick has a bunch of videos and reviews that are quite interesting as well.

Hi Matt. Attaching pictures to show what I bought on Amazon and what I’ve done to keep my otter box case on my iPhone 6. When phone is in place, it is held firmly.
