Trying unsucessfuly to fly 4 year inactive Mavic Air

I haven't flown my Mavic Air since 2020. I lost my original DJI GO 4 app with phone upgrade. I downloaded a new app DJI FLY GO and I can't connect my phone/controller to my Mavic. Suggestion?

Uninstall the fly go app, and install the genuine Go4 from either

DJI Go 4 - Download Center - DJI United States

Capture the world from above. Compatible with the Mavic Series, Spark, Phantom 4, and more.

Go to DJI's website and download the latest version of GO4. DJI Fly app won't work with drones designed to use GO4 app.

DJI FLY GO, as mentioned by the OP, is an after market control app available in the play store.
