Under new EU regulations coming soon into force, all UAV flying over Europe are required to broadcast electronic messaging including ID, flight data, ... on Wifi Channel 6.
As I wanted to check what is this message content, sent by my bird (M2ED), I prototyped a test based on WiFi adapter AWUS036ACS, plugged on a MacBook, to capture broadcasted messages and then decoding them using Wireshark freeware.
Although it's been working fine, this is quite a heavy process which requires desktop, so it is hard to test this on the field...
I was just wondering if there is a light alternative solution based on Android for example....
If anyone knows, will be happy to hear about.
