Got something very similar for the grandkids two Christmases ago. The ones we got work pretty good but only have a flight time of about 8-10 mins...then charge for an hour. They were a blast while they flew, but you know kids. The charge to flight time ratio didn't appeal to them. It ended up being a novelty thing and one of those toys that faded into their memory after Christmas.

Maybe DJI will develop such a drone? There is a mass market, especially since they could make it fly longer and inexpensively?
You could have them fighting each other take your mates out with the right force and angle, that would be fun.

That would be like General Motors making tricycles. Yes there's a market, but it's beyond their interest. Too little profit.
